Responsibilities
SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures a daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investments companies).
This is a full-time internship lasting 6 months.
Desired start date : as soon as possible
Tasks and responsibilities:
* Headings vault: management of physical certificates printing and canceling, sending and receiving to counterparties, accounting in the procedures used by the bank for the management of the securities deposit
* Internal base date update: coupon and related dividends
* Central securities with and relations with foreign sub - depositories
* Statistical data management
* Records and Event Management in the Recordkeeping tool
* Verifies ownership of the assets held by the Funds as required by law
Required
Profile required
Studies & experience:
* Bachelor's degree in economics
* Previous experience in Banking would be preferred
Language skills:
* Italian: C2
* English: B2
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Problem Solving
* Team player
