Your Role
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer Specialist to join our growing organization. This person should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, able to work successfully in a dynamic environment that includes multiple platforms and architectures, technologies and work environments to join our Operation team in our HQ (Italy-Cesena). The resource together with his team will take care of the management of Continuous Improvement and problem solving projects in the manufacturing fields respecting the rules of Lean thinking: he will also have the task of increasing production efficiency and identifying effective measures aimed at increasing the value for our customers. He will have to improve plant standards and help the team leaders in the correct technical training of line operators. Together with the other business areas (R&D, T&M, QA, etc.) it will have the task of optimizing and monitoring production processes, production cycles and quality and technological standards. It will also have the task of guaranteeing the safety standards of our production process
Your Impact
* Management of Problem Solving activities (6σ, Kaizen, etc ...) related to production.
* Management of continuous improvement activities in production.
* Management of line balances together with team leaders based on productivity needs, available resources and specific process criticalities.
* Organization of training sessions (quality assurance, times and methods and balancing of lines) and generation, standardization and improvement of training modules.
* Evaluate the projects and resources needed to promote Continuous Improvement activities.
* Ensure that occupational safety and ergonomics standards are met through the validation of manufacturing processes, equipment, masks etc.
* Participate in process audits.
* Improvement quality control standards.
About You
* Degree in mechanical or management engineering with a course of study focused on production and logistics.
* Even short experience (1-2 years) in a similar role or in manufacturing, production, times and methods or logistics area
* An important plus is the candidate come from Automotive or Industrial companies with series production, characterized by complexity and focused on continuous improvement and problem solving.
* Knowledge of production processes and assembly processes.
* Knowledge of Lean fundamentals (Value stream map, SMED, DMAIC process, 6σ, lean activities, …)
* Orientation to achieve objectives.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to team work.
* Excellent computer skills.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Knowledge of SAP and Power BI will be considered a plus.
Enthusiasm, Humility, Proactivity, Passion for sport and physical activity complete the desired profile.
