JOB PURPOSE
The ideal Candidate will be included in the Pricing team, within the WW Operational Marketing Department and will be responsible for the pricing of all the Prada group brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Price lists: develop and control WW Price Lists in local currencies for Retail, Wholesale, Outlet, E-Commerce and Marketplace channels in collaboration with HQs and Regional Merchandising Teams
- Margin analysis : define appropriate methodologies to monitor Sell-In and Sell-Out prices and the correct industrial and commercial Mark-Up
- Pricing Sessions: participate in pricing sessions for all the Prada Group product categories (LG, Shoes, RTW, Jewelry, Home)
- Price Change: support the HQs Operations team for the price change activities
- Business Intelligence: collaborate with IT and Analytics depts. in order, on one hand, to implement new automatic BI reports for top management and new pricing tool functions and on the other hand to support the development of our analytical and competitive intelligence pricing software
- Pricing tool: master the pricing tool in order to know how to create and check the price lists and its consistency
- Geo-Pricing: monitor the exchange rates, margin, business impact, opportunities and risks associated with different pricing strategies for each country
- Competitor: develop an accurate price and spread competitor analysis benchmarking our competitors in order to drive strategic actions
- Pricing Strategy: support the development the pricing strategy in coordination with the competitive environment and translation of this into our algorithm for dynamic pricing for the markets
- Relation with top management: support the preparation of the monthly Pricing Positioning reporting with both HQ and Local management teams (incl. CEO and CFO) for the markets served
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2-3 years of experience as Pricing Specialist – better if gained in luxury / retail business
Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite; SQL and Python are a plus.
Proficient use of Business Object, Qlik and/or similar reporting tools. Familiarity with AS400 and Stealth3000
Good communication and presentation skills
Analytical and hands-on approach, “critical thinker”.
Team working attitude, problem solving and focused on targets/deliverables.
Full proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus
