Your Role
You will ensure fast + accurate responses to requests for pricing + quotations for all modes from both internal + external customers by obtaining + compiling selling rates for business not covered by existing rate agreements.Your Responsibilities
You will do this by collaborating with internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:
- To carry out tender center activities effectively + provide engineering solution support as required.
- To provide accurate pricing responses within the agreed timeframes.
- To manage vendor procurement + competitive rate offerings by regularly reviewing existing quotations +/or renegotiating with vendors to support business development.
- To collaborate with other countries on door-to-door pricing to create competitive solutions for customers.
- To utilize internal systems for customer proposal submissions.
- To assist with problem solving, providing guidance in relation to pricing + procurement activities.
- To maintain strong relationships with vendors + carriers to support our commercial positions.
- To identify + mitigate risk in vendor relationships, developing + improving our sourcing/pricing models.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor degree in International Business/Supply chain/Logistics (related educational background is acceptable).
- Having 3 years working experience in Pricing + Procurement or Operations for Road Logistics.
- Good knowledge of domestic + cross border transportation.
- Strong negotiation + communication skills
- Good at stakeholder management & financial acumen.
- Good command of English (both verbal & written).
