Business Development Manager – Domestic Forwarding
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager – Domestic Forwarding to add to their expanding team. The purpose of this position is to increase and execute sales, initiate contact with potential customers, identify their needs and co-create white glove transportation services to meet those needs.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize experience to sell in medical equipment, gaming, kiosk, or pharmaceutical transportation.
- Use network of contacts to assist in achieving sales goals.
- Increase market share in key industry segments.
- Increase sales and exceed quota.
- Sales hunter mentality, ability to close new business/bid requests.
- Prepare sales information for customers.
- Responsible for providing accurate computer-generated and written reports.
- Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques.
- Strong analysis and judgment skills.
- Demonstrate problem-solving techniques.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Complete daily paperwork.
- Work with various internal departments to build business and resolve issues.
- Lead by example in regards to the Company policies and procedures.
- Take directives and demonstrate good listening skills.
- Complete assigned duties in required timeframes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in white glove specialized transportation services preferred.
- Strong computer and internet skills; Microsoft Office, word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
- Use good judgment in completing work tasks.
- Demonstrated track record of performing above quota.
- Possess specialized transportation sales experience.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Specialized transportation services customer base well established.
