Salary: COMPETITIVE

Location: Mexico City or Madrid. Hybrid (40-60% office-based depending on location)

Contract: Fixed term contract until 23.06.25, Full time 35 hours p/week

About the role 

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our English Learning Solutions team for 12 months, to develop customised solutions for specific clients and markets. We are a tight-knit and forward-thinking team, who enjoy working collaboratively and sharing ideas. You will have the opportunity to hear feedback directly from customers, which can be extremely motivating.

As Product Owner you will lead on investigating and scoping solutions for customers, bringing the projects to approval and seeing them through to delivery. You will need to be curious about the customer and be able to work with colleagues to propose a solution which is feasible and viable. This means getting close to our customers, directly and through Business Development and regional Commercial teams, and leading the delivery team.

This role offers great flexibility for growth and development, as well as the opportunity to make a significant, positive contribution to the development of bespoke English learning material for our customers all over the world.

About you:

• You possess very strong publishing skills and commercial acumen, and you're comfortable liaising with customers.
• A background in commissioning editorial components with experience in researching, planning, and specifying a range of products is essential. This should include involvement in projects for print and digital delivery. You will be working across sectors and markets and moving between projects, so you should be comfortable with this.
• You will have experience of learning materials customisation. You will be able to assess and advise on opportunities and quickly build internal teams and external freelancer/packager teams to deliver on them.
• You will be an excellent problem-solver in high pressure situations and be able to come up with innovative but practical solutions.
• You will be organised, flexible and an excellent communicator.
• You should be a true collaborator, embracing opportunities for learning and seeking to empower others.
