We are looking for a motivated and strategic OEM Business Development Manager to lead efforts in converting OEM/End Users who currently use competitor products to adopt our solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market share and driving revenue growth through effective relationship management and conversion strategies.

Your responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitor products to understand their features, limitations, and customer pain points, identifying key advantages of our solutions and develop compelling value propositions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers currently using competitor products, acting as the primary point of contact for these customers, addressing their needs and concerns
- Develop and execute a conversion strategy to persuade customers to transition from competitor products to our solutions and customize conversion plans for individual clients, showcasing the benefits and ROI of switching
- Possess in-depth knowledge of our OEM products, their applications, and technical specifications, and be capable of providing technical guidance and support to clients during the conversion process
- Work closely with the sales team to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to facilitate conversions, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions for customers
- Track conversion progress and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, preparing regular reports on conversion performance and provide insights for continuous improvement
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- With minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
- Proven success in OEM account management and sales, with a focus on competitor product conversions
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of OEM products and applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze market data and competitor products critically
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
- Willingness to travel as required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
