We are currently looking for a Key Account Managerto join our team in Italy.

Our new employee will be responsible for expanding market penetration for the assigned region and customers in the Pulp & Paperindustry in Tuscany.

This is a full-time, permanent role home-based in the area of Tuscany (Lucca, Pisa, Florence).

What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing business development strategies and creating development plans for relevant area to reach required business objectives and revenue.

• Working closely with extended commercial team (i.e. Corporate Accounts, Regional Marketing, Pricing, and Applications) to understand business requirements and market needs.

• Selling new business and new applications in the region. Developing and implementing sales plans on new opportunities including documenting ROI and value delivery.

• Establishing, maintaining and prioritizing an accurate and current sales funnel. Managing profitability of the account. Reviewing territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.

• Achieving customer satisfaction resulting in optimal retention of existing business and growth of new business.

• Maintaining and developing customer relations with new and existing customers.

 

What You'll Bring:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or similar area, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Preferably some previous experience in Process industry (metals, pulp and paper, mining are preferred).

• Fluent Italian and good English.

• Customer focus – Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers.

• Delivering Results – Deliver against strategic business KPI’s. Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice.

• Ability to make independent decisions, work flexibly, and have high degree of self-motivation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude.

• Valid driving license - this is a field-based role and frequent travel will be required.
