Our client is a leader company in the Italian Automotive market with global manufacturing production reach and producing exhaust and Air Intake Systems for Fiat Chrysler (FCA), Ford, CNH, Volvo, Tata, Mahindra, etc.

 

Albelissa has been entrusted by the customer to build an Indian lead engineering team to deliver on several ongoing projects. Initially, you will be on an Indian payroll of our Indian JV then you will shift on a competitive Italian package. The location of the job is nearby Turin, Italy and you will be hired with a local Italian contract.

Your role:

 

Within our customer’ facilities:

  • you'll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products
  • You'll assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new clients from a technical perspective.
  • You'll liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as:
    • design
    • development
    • production
    • purchasing
    • quality
    • senior company managers.

 

  • you’ll provide the knowledge required to have top design of Exhaust systems/Air Intake Systems
  • develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • arrange and carry out product training
  • support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
  • liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • help in the design of custom-made products
  • Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to effectively achieve organizational goals
  • Continuously work for organizational process improvement, providing input to the sales and marketing teams to refine processes and cater to new and emerging market opportunities
  • Enter, update and maintain daily sales activities and client/customer information into company sales database
  • Pitch clients and customers to decide, buy and use the company’s products
  • Plans an effective sales targeting approach to the assigned sales territory
  • Regularly follow up on inbound leads and sales inquiries
  • Respond to customer/client inquiries, suggestions, complaints and other details, by phone and email
  • Suggest and implements a closing business strategy relative to sales

 

Within our organization:

  • you’ll drive work packages offshore to India and control on time and quality of deliveries
  • you’ll grow the business within our customer by increasing our entitlement at the customer.
  • you’ll manage one team member and more once the team will grow

 

 

Education:


Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Equivalent in Mechanics or Aeronautics or Industrial


Functional Expertise:


Should have real time (specific) work experience of 5 to 8 years in the design of Automotive Exhaust system / Air Intake System.

 

Interpersonal and Leadership Traits

  • Should be able to manage, assist and support engineering teams in the use of CATIA systems
  • Should be technically very sound and capable of handling a team.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Participate effectively in team environments.

 

Required for the position:

 

  • Should be willing to travel abroad as per the client requirements.
  • Ready to relocate as per the company requirements.
  • Willingness to work in extremely aggressive schedules, while still not neglecting the value of attention to details and subsequently delivering high quality work.
  • Indian driver license
