As Technical Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for promotion of new technology offerings from our design services propositions of DesignSpark and OKdo. You will be working on developing content to engage audiences (customers and suppliers), inform and train users, and to educate teams on the products, solutions and services being bought to market. Your content will reach millions of community members and customers, thousands of people internally, and hundreds of suppliers.
You will use marketing, community engagement, technical content and product & supplier relationship resources for the benefit of the design solutions brands and the wider RS group industrial strategy.
What you will be doing:
- Developing and delivering a range of Technical Marketing content that promotes RS Group, OKdo and DesignSpark as a technology leader
- Supporting strategic relationships with market-leading brands in the SBC, AIOT and Edge compute sectors that establish RS Group (incl. OKdo and DesignSpark) as their preferred partner in distribution
- Generate demand from target customer and supplier audiences for the design services propositions, products and brands
- Develop projects that test and prove new technology introductions, working with customers, suppliers and third parties to deliver
- Continually educate the field sales & AE teams through email, videos, demos, webinars and other training sessions
- Support the development of trade shows & other industry events.
What we are looking for from you:
- Experience working in a commercial product marketing or Technical Marketing function
- Understanding of single board computers, modules, embedded systems & ecosystems would be useful
- Passion for sustainability and making the impact of electronics cleaner and greener
- Proven ability to communicate at technical level
