Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to develop the company's data ecosystem.• Work on new projects aimed at transforming the company into a data-driven reality.• Design and develop scalable data pipelines.• Optimize data management processes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.• Manage complex data governance and observability systems.• Contribute to the construction of a solid data platform shared among different business units.• Develop integrated solutions in the cloud (Google Cloud Platform).• Ensure the quality, security, performance, and robustness of solutions.• Collaborate with Data Analysts to define business requirements.• Work both individually and in team on Data Engineering projects.
Requirements
• Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics.• Experience programming in languages like Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.• Familiarity with data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, distributed data processing frameworks, data integration and ETL tools.• Knowledge of data control and access principles (IAM).• Passion for applying technical knowledge to business problems and curiosity for new tools and technologies.• Teamwork-oriented mindset.• Good written and spoken English skills.
