The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Process Engineer at 3M Grassobbio Plant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Becoming the technical reference person inside the Plant, having the knowledge of the manufacturing processes, the production facilities and the products, also preparing and updating the operating procedures and product/process standards documents.
- Managing together with Laboratory / Quality team new products qualification programs or changes on existing products.
- Cooperating with Production personnel in order to fix production anomalies.
- Coordinating with Central Engineering team the development of investments projects for new machines or machine upgrades.
- Improving products unit costs and quality, through specific projects (i.e. productivity increase, waste reduction, etc.) and collaborating with the financial controller for product unit costs definition and for monitoring their trend.
- Supporting system data entry/creation/adjustment tasks by providing necessary technical data and information
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Skills in analysis and synthesis of technical problems
- Team working abilities
- Problem solving and proactivity
- Results oriented
- Time and priority management, handling different activities in parallel
- Ability to work autonomously
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Preferably previous working experience within manufacturing area
- SAP system and statistical software tools knowledge is preferable and considered a plus
