Collaborative robotics is becoming a key tool for making craft production systems more competitive and attractive, while improving production quality and margins. New technologies are beginning to offer this possibility and hint at unexplored scenarios on the horizon where even non-expert users will be able to use complex and difficult-to-control devices such as robots. The research activity of this project falls within this area and deals with the development of algorithms (also based on AI) capable of integrating sensors and EOAT on a collaborative robot to support handicraft production. In particular, it will be necessary to develop an experimental setup and methods suitable for the production of objects in composite materials and with additive manufacturing techniques using continuous fibres.
