Application Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization in MOTION DRIVES Division throughout the sales process by adapting ABB’s products with customer applications to meet their requirements. Each day, you will . Selects optimized products and technology for adaptation, prepares relevant documentation, and serves as a key technical resource for the assigned area mainly for industrial drives, as well as other ABB products, including PLC, MOTORS and SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing and implementing solutions, product packages, and software applications with your team. • Understanding customer needs and requirements, and effectively communicating the ability of ABB’s solutions to address those needs. • Coordinating the product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB’s solutions. • Supporting in preparing sales proposals and negotiating contracts to secure new businesses. • Support all initiatives of OEM HUB in the Southern Region Area and collaborates with the Center of Excellence (CoE) of products, for analyzing technical issues or participating to internal initiatives for the development of new products.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in Industrial Automation, Industrial Drives Hardware, Mechatronic concepts.
• You have experience in commissioning automation plants and industrial machinery, supporting customers on site
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of CoDeSys and/or C programming language
• You are passionate about Customer Satisfaction and Sales Processes
• Degree or Technical Diploma in Automation, Electromechanical field
• You are at ease communicating in English and Italian
