About the role
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to be responsible for collaboratively creating and tactically executing the integrated Marketing Communications strategy for the East Asia region in alignment with the Cambridge International Education and Cambridge CEM global brands. This includes planning for and executing integrated marketing tactics to help enhance reputation and demand among its stakeholders as a trusted education partner to deliver international programmes and qualifications for 3–19-year-olds. The role leads additional marketing activity on behalf of the wider Marketing Communications team and, as part of this, builds regional Marketing Communications capacity.

Qualifications
- A first degree in a related field – business/marketing, communications, journalism, English or equivalent. Ideally a professional qualification or second degree focusing on marketing & communications.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of marketing
- Understanding of the education market in East Asia and an international outlook
- Understanding of social media landscape in China
- Excellent written and spoken skills in both English and Chinese
- Excellent editing skills with the ability to produce accurate, persuasive copy of a high standard
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues simply and accurately to the media
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with senior managers
- Excellent event management skills
- Excellent campaign management skills
- Excellent understanding of branding
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms in China
- Excellent understanding of web communications in China and limitations of websites set up outside China
- Ability to write clear action plans and implement them

- Knowledge of webinar platforms preferred

- Excellent collaborative skills for the creation of events with small resource
