MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
In close collaboration with ADC Italy Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst is responsible for the operational discipline related to all Financial Planning and Analysis tasks he/she is in charge for the respective Country. He/She has to support the finance manager to ensure timely and correct delivery of all financial requirements including financial reporting to both region RSEE and EMEA.
Within the Italian organization, He/She has to work in close collaboration with the commercial leadership and the other departments such as Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Excellence and acts as trusted business partner at all commercial levels of the organization within the area of responsibility, in order to set up bottom-up forecasting processes.
The Senior Financial Analyst is constantly committed to simplification and standardization in line with EMEA HQ requests and financial policies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the delivery of the timely and high-quality submission of all financial requests requiring Abbott reporting tools (Dodeca) for the monthly/quarterly/yearly forecast
- Ensure strong operational discipline for all finance-driven processes across the organization
- Support the Finance Manager in the month-end and quarter-end closing process, interacting with CFS department in the journal entries posting process
- Provide detailed analysis across the P&L and Balance Sheet lines to RSEE region, respecting deadlines for regional deliverables submission
- Last Best Estimate (LBE) and Commercial Deck Review (CDR) preparation support for the Finance department in relation to the financial metrics and key opportunities/vulnerabilities
- Support the Finance Manager in the internal/external audit documents preparation
- Act as true business partner across the whole organization, providing financial support on ad hoc requests and business development projects
- Be perceived as a “go-to” person, while also being very reflected on the key priorities for the organization and the function
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4 years of work experience within finance/controllership departments.
- Pharmaceutical/Medical Device experience is a plus
- Proven experience on P&L, Balance Sheet and forecast cycle analysis involvement (month-end closing, LBE data load, commercial templates reporting)
- Proficiency in large data handling and tool-driven data analysis and analytical skills.
- Prior experience of delivering complex data sets within given deadlines. Strong experiences on advanced Excel, PowerPoint and an established data-cube system (SAP, Power BI)
- Fluent (spoken and written) in English (advanced level C1) and the local office language (Italian) other languages knowledge it is a plus
- Strong working team attitude, accuracy, drive for result, flexibility, problem solving.
EDUCATION
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics
- International experience is considered a plus.

- Office based in Rome. Available to Travel 5%.
