Financial Control is currently our biggest function in Hungary supporting Europe, North-America and Africa.
About the role
The Financial Controlling Lead Analyst supports the Financial Controller and the market, coordinates and supervises activities of FC analyst within the team and supports/ coordinates other departments. Will support the market/other departments with technical related questions and issue resolution, also support people in different functions such as tax, group accounting when it comes to Financial Controlling, technical accounting matters.
Key accountabilities
Support key Financial Controlling processes: month end and period end closes, journal entry preparation, financial statement preparation and review, KPI and data quality monitoring, balance sheet review preparation, adherence to CARM controls
Support that statutory and management reporting for the legal entities within the scope of the role is completed accurately, on time and in line with internal and external controls.
Prepare year-end statutory adjustments and transfer pricing reports with the relevant stakeholders in the market and in Group.
Support the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completion
About You
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business, or accounting
3-4 years’ experience in relevant area
Excellent business English knowledge
Good Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)
Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
Strong analytical and technical skills
Ability of building and sustaining close working relationships and influencing Senior management
