A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepare service sales and hardware proposals for the Power Protection product group for the UK & Ireland region.In this role, a strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing formal technical and commercial offers with clear contract terms.
• Aiding sales colleagues in specifying optimal, cost-effective solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Providing assistance and input in meetings, product presentations and negotiations.
• Answering technical queries from engineering teams and delivering vital information to risk reviews.
• Studying customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams.

Your background

• 1-2 years of experience in the electrical industry, working as internal Sales Support or technical support with a strong eye for detail, accuracy and commercial acumen.
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite of software tools.
• Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
