Operating at the intersection of technology and supply chain we are a critical component of the ReUse division of Reconomy – the parent company of ReBound.

ReBound excels in providing toptier Returns Management solutions covering the entire reverse lifecycle of products across ecommerce retail stores and marketplaces. By optimizing our customers’ Returns Management solutions we can enhance their financial and operational performance as well as lessen their environmental impact. But most of all we support our clients in delivering an unparalleled customer experience to endconsumers.

We aim to significantly expand our global client base with a key focus on growing the US market with double digits year over year.

To achieve this we are seeking a Business Development Manager in North America. This role will report into the new Head of Sales for the region.

Global Scope & Clients:


ReBound has a significant presence and footprint in the global Returns Management market partnering with the top Abrands in eCommerce. Clients include Columbia Sportswear ASOS JD Sports Mango and many others. As part of the Reconomy Group we also have a global coverage with 30 subsidiaries and 20 regional offices on 4 continents and customers live in more than 180 countries working together with hundreds of partners. This enables us to act locally while developing globally.

Ownership Structure:

ReBound is Private Equity owned with its parent company Reconomy located in the UK. The Reconomy Group has operations & locations throughout the globe and has a revenue of around $1.5B. Reconomy wants to significantly grow its US based revenue based on a plan and significant investments. Goal is to grow to $300M revenue in 2 years.

Business Development Manager:

  • To continue to further grow our business with new client acquisition within the North American market.

  • Building and promoting strong customer relationships with key stakeholders on a senior level and understanding their needs.

  • Develop effective plans to generate new leads and increase our brand awareness in the North American market.

  • Present sales plans and realistic forecasts. Update CRM with all relevant data. Present target account lists and account plans for large global accounts.

  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs and cooperate with the European team on global bids.

  • Cooperate with business partners in the Returns Management business.

  • Practice effective communication escalation & incident management in a timely and proactive manner.

What we are looking for:

  • 5 years of New Business sales experience with proven ability to manage pipeline and meet sales targets.

  • Knowledge of the North American returns management and logistics sector along with experience in software sales.

  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the North American market.

  • You have a starters mentality. You’re an out of the box thinker that can help in setting up local marketing and demand generation initiatives.

  • You have a clear passion for what you do.

  • You have a commercial drive and sales is part of your DNA.

  • You are a true relationship builder that fosters collaboration with your clients and colleagues.

  • You love to cooperate with business partners.

  • You are creative in finding solutions in a complex environment.

  • You listen to your client’s problems and needs and can translate these into solutions.

  • You like to be on top of market trends and are able to translate them in new opportunities.

  • You love working with numbers and focus on improving the bottom line and top line performance of clients

  • You are Tech IT and CRM savvy; on top of your forecast.
