PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Retail Manager will manage the retail business, drive performance, train and develop teams. The chosen candidate will develop growth, maximizing sales and profitability whilst providing the retail team with a stimulating and supportive environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximize Brands’ business in all sales opportunities and monitor retail team performance & KPIs to increase productivity
- Define and transmit to the retail team measurable objectives to achieve and a KPI driven approach
- Increase store performance by continually coaching and developing the retail team, identifying and meeting training needs
- Analyze sell out and propose corrective action plans, provide realistic plans and forecasts on sell out performance
- Establish strong relationships with key retailers
- Analyze new product sales ensuring all opportunities are being maximized
- Discuss retail sales targets for each store with the team and monitor weekly / monthly / quarterly retail sales to ensure actual is in line with forecast
- Act as project manager for retail operations initiatives and collaborate with the team in ensuring roll-out effectiveness
- Monitor LFB service codes & attitudes within the retail network
- Ensure the perfect execution of store events and animations
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitors
- Ensure that all retail expenditure is in line with budget
Profile
PROFILE
- Over 5 years of previous experience in Commercial or Retail related positions
- Retail & client experience
- Results & customer-orientation
- Business acumen, ability to catch new opportunities for the Brands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong People Management Skills (motivation and lead)
- Strong Negotiation and Influencing skills
- Structured approach to planning and KPI measuring, data analysis and trend forecasting
- Entrepreneurial spirit, able to handle complexity and work in multi-tasking environment
- Luxury attitude and passion for beauty market
- Willing to travel frequently
- Fluent English, French is a plus
