Partner with the best

You'll play a vital role in an exciting and fast-paced position within the Baker Hughes Singapore. You'll work on short/long-term assignments aimed at developing new and improving existing designs, supporting activities, and resolving field issues. You'll be capable of undertaking design, validation & verification activities on Oil & Gas equipment.

As a Project Lead Engineer - Subsea Connections, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
  • Providing technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Baker Hughes Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
  • Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
  • Working together with business leadership at SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
  • Delivering products as part of a cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Contributing to entire design cycles of subsea items within 3D Modelling software and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) environments.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Have established industry experience within a mechanical engineering or project engineering role.
  • Have established experience in mechanical design, ideally for Oil & Gas/Subsea.
  • Have substantial experience using 3D Modelling software and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Be able to work in a multi-cultural global organization, with open and inclusive mindset.​
