We are looking to hire a Project and Program Manager, HEALTH & WELLBEING in our H&W team based in Mumbai:

We are the Global Health & Wellbeing (H&W) team at Unilever. We are a start-up (less than 4 years old), focused on one of Unilever’s largest growth opportunities – the €140bn Health & Wellbeing space defined by Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS).

Our Business:
Unilever’s Health & Wellbeing Group holds the company’s functional nutrition brands and the portfolio of brands that includes equilibra (Italy) and US acquired brands Olly, LiquidIV, SmartyPants, Welly, Onnit, and most recently Nutrafol. Each brand is completely unique and focused on giving consumers superior experiences within their respective spaces and target segments. We are committed to continue grow this strategic business for Unilever through a series of acquisitions and international expansion of acquired brands through Unilever’s scale and network in the markets.
Creating a String of Peals:
In May 2021 Unilever announced that Health & Wellbeing would be organized as an integrated Global Business Unit (GBU) bringing together the acquired operating companies, category strategy focused on M&A, international expansion, and entering new and adjacent categories, as well as platform functions such as HR, Legal, R&D, Regulatory, IT, and Finance. This organization is led by EVP Health & Wellbeing with a dedicated leadership team. Following the string of pearls approach, the GBU LT will establish a balanced operating model that preserves the unique cultures of each business, while gluing together and scaling capabilities.
Job Description Overview:
This role leads the Global Health & Wellbeing Project Management Organization for the APAC region. Key responsibilities include strategic project management, timeline and network accountability, governance oversight, KPI tracking, risk identification, and resource allocation. The role will serve as the Global PMO supporting global platform and regional expansion teams bringing a variety of brands within the H&W Collective to strategic APAC markets.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead a project team comprised of cross functional SMEs to ensure timely delivery of key objectives and launches within India, South East Asia, and Australia.
Management of project timelines, note taking, meeting facilitation, gate progression oversight, and documentation for all international expansion activities.
Engage in high level strategic stakeholder management across teams.
Support of the regional General Managers and Global VPs in KPI identification and tracking within a total project portfolio.
Lead risk escalation and decision meetings and ensure aligned outcomes.
Organize projects and resource allocation within Project Management software.
Contribute fully to a climate for success in project teams: foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships, reward, and celebrate achievements.
Develop collaborative relationships across matrixed organization.
Own & drive issues identification & resolution and assure smooth transition between key decision points. Ensure project teams correctly define and resolve issues within its remit plus developing Sponsor recommendations for resolution of issues outside remit.
Who are we looking for?
Advanced degree required in food science, biological sciences, data science, chemical engineering, supply chain disciplines or similar area preferred.
7+ years in complex project management (including cross-functional teams and external advisors).
Direct people line management or people mentorship aptitude preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with critical technical workstreams (R&D, supply chain, RA/QA) and commercial KPIs within a product development framework.
Agile and problem-solving mindset with strong ability to simplify complex problems to actionable plans.
Experience working internationally and in virtual teams.
Ability to work a flexible hour schedule to provide access to international time zones is required.
Experience in Microsoft Project, Wrike, or similar project management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to think flexibly to meet constantly shifting priorities and timelines and to independently provide solutions to issues.
