About the role
Working with teams across UK, International and the wider Cambridge network, you will play an integral role in maximising the value of the ExamBuilder product and the delivery of the development teams against the Product Strategy.
The Product Owner ensures UK Education's key digital services are continuously and competitively improved and managed in line with the needs of customers and the market to support teachers' preparing learners for exams, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to revenue growth.
What you will be doing:
- Being the champion for the digital service across the business.
- Management and ownership of digital products in line with UK Education's digital vision, impacting customer satisfaction, advocacy, and growth.
- Line management of Digital Services Co-Ordinator.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvements based on your understanding of customer needs, their pain points and ensuring that the overall usability of the digital service meets the needs of our target customers.
- Monitoring and reporting on service performance, product usage and product issues to drive business decision-making and priorities.
- Delivery of iterative changes to ExamBuilder and developing long term vision for product.
- Prioritisation of the backlog using appropriate methodologies and tools to drive tactical and strategic improvements that meet customer needs.
About you
You are an experienced professional with a track record and previous experience of delivering digital products against a strategy.
You'll demonstrate a passion for delivering digital products to customer needs and requirements. You'll have leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate teams. To be successful in this role, you will be motivated with a positive attitude and an enthusiasm to take on new challenges. With your excellent interpersonal skills, you will enjoy interacting with a wide range of people and collaborate as part of a wider team.
You have proven experience working with agile methodologies and have a passion for data, applying data insights and user experience.
A clear communicator, you are able to present ideas clearly and use a variety of skills and methods to communicate with and influence customers, users and staff at all levels.
