Logistics Sales Executive
Our client is looking to add a Logistics Sales Executive to their expanding company. This position will be responsible for obtaining new business opportunities with current and new customers as well as other duties that are outlined below.
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, and qualify leads for asset, brokerage, and warehousing logistics needs.
• Focus on sales for cross-border freight opportunities at the U.S. – Mexico border, both inbound and outbound.
• Sell on behalf of the parent company for a holistic solution with value-added services, manufacturing, warehousing, I.T., staffing, and transportation within the parent company portfolio.
• Work with the pricing analyst to prepare, analyze, and present rates to prospects.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of the logistics industry to target key commercial sectors.
• Cold calling via telephone and walk-up opportunities across an array of markets.
• Strong interpersonal skills in order to best connect with customers.
• Extensive travel schedule to maintain relationships with customer base as well as expand areas of opportunities.
• Adhere to sales goals set by executive leadership.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• Must have at least 3 years of Logistics Sales Experience.
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
• Working knowledge of CRM Software/Products required.
