Job Title: Group Internal Audit Manager

Salary: £42,000 - £56,800

Location: Cambridge / Hybrid

Contract: Permanent, full time 35 hours per week

 

Join our high performing Group Internal Audit team as Group Internal Audit Manager, help us in providing independent and objective assurance to our Audit & Risk Committee, Executive Board and senior management.

About the role

As part of our close-knit team, you'll have the chance to work on assignments for our Cambridge office and our other offices across the world, with exposure to senior key stakeholders up to and including Board level, both in Cambridge and elsewhere.

Working under the supervision of the Group Internal Audit directorate based in Cambridge, you will:

· Use your detailed understanding and experience of internal controls, fraud and risk management requirements in complex, multi-national organisations.

· Assess control weaknesses and develop practical solutions to appropriately mitigate the risks identified.

· Identify and assess business, strategic and financial risks affecting the business and the industry in which the company operates.

· Post graduate level ability to research topics and synthesize knowledge – obtained via higher degree, professional qualifications, or otherwise.

 

About you

You will be ideal for this role if you are passionate about good corporate governance and have:

· Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CGMA/CPA or international equivalent.

· Experience in an Internal Audit function for a complex medium to large company and/or external audit experience.

· Formal training in Internal Audit methodologies/tools that align with the principles of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

· Knowledge of and act in accordance with the Standards of the IIA.
