Sensor control strategy definition in accordance to target performance and overall sensor requirementsSensor control algorithm design and development, including, modelling, simulation and experimental validationDevelopment of test requirements, test plan and test solutionParticipate to Sensor test activitiesSensor performance assessments using both theoretical and experimental data.Diagnose Sensors Control loop issues driving to definitive root cause.Definition of analog and digital electronics requirements (MC/FPGA/ASIC DAC/ADC, etc) to support the defined control algorithmsSupport Control loop algorithm implementation on embedded software or firmwareRequisiti: Education Master's Degree and PhD with specialisation inControl Engineering, or equivalent working experience Experiences Equivalent work experience of more than 10 years with; PhD + 5 years, or Degree or Master's + 10 years in Control, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace Deep Experience with inertial sensors modelling and characterisation with preferable experience in MEMS and CVG technology Deep knowledge and experience of designing and implementing control systems, theoretical knowledge of control theory, signal processing, estimation, system identification Good understanding of algorithms such as PID, LQR, Kalman filters. Demonstrated practical experience in the design, analysis, and testing of high-performance control systems (preferably electro-mechanical) Experience in software development and implementing control and signal processing algorithms in C/C++ Experience in using MATLAB/Simulink. Experience with using Simulink for model-based design, code generation Experience developing embedded control systems, real-time OS, FPGA, DS Experience in HIL/SIL/FIL/PIL testing Technical Skills MATLAB/SIMULINK C/C++ Language Numeric Optimisation Estimation Theory
