Forma di lavoroRandstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting an engineer to take a role in designing and verifying Space Systems Tests and Platform Test Engineer, for an aerospace client based in Rome.
Responsabilità
The job holder will have the following main tasks:
execution of tests on RF and Microwaves subsystems and systems
execution of Platform tests is a plus
analysis, modeling and simulation of Payload test benches functions and performances
definition of validation, methods and accuracy of tests
development of AIT Test Software and Procedures
use and tuning of main AIT software tools (ECHO, E-SCS2, LMO, James, and so on)
supervision of test campaigns and analysis of results
test report and trend analysis
supervision of test campaigns and analysis of results
Also required is knowledge in the following areas:
knowledge/Experience on main protocol/standards as CCSDS, ITU, ECSS, PUS and so on
knowledge of ESA technical standard (at least of the following list) :
ECSS-E-ST-20-07C Rev.2(3January2022) (EMC)
ECSS-E-ST-50-05C(RF and modulation)
ECSS-E-ST-50-02C (Ranging and Doppler)
technical experience about write/understanding of the Payload Test Requirements of a Satellite
technical experience about technical procurement on Payload units
technical experiences about test execution at Payload level or alternatively on Spacecraft level
technical experience on Payload EGSE elements and development on Payload simulator
knowledge of the operating principles on Telecommunication Sub-systems.
knowledge and experience in the use of measurement instrumentations (Oscilloscope, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer)
Knowledge of the following ares is a plus:
knowledge/Experience on EPS/AVS subsystems tests is a plus
knowledge/Experience on RF tests including EMC Test campaign is a plus
knowledge of MATLAB, C++, Python, Java, Linux is a plus
Requirements
Master degree in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineer or equivalent
Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
Supervision of test campaigns and analysis of results
Availability to work in double or triple shifts
Availability to work during bank holidays seasons
Availability to work on weekends
Availability to work abroad for long periods
