Work will be done in strict collaboration with the TASI System Navigation team. Opportunity to be relocated out of Italy for limited periods are often available in the frame of System Navigation.Task description:In support of the System Navigation Team, the following activities will be nominally part of the daily work covered by the position:support System Navigation team in the System Integration and Verification definition activities, related to the specific Navigation ProgramsContribute to the definition of the Project test strategy and Qualification campaign definitionDefine the System assembly, Integration and Verification PlanDefine the Operational Validation PlanPrepare the Review Verification Matrixes, according to the applicable standards (e.g. ECSS for ESA and EUSPA)Prepare the System Test Cases for verification of Ground and Space Segments, including compatibility tests campaign definitionSupport the definition of System Test Tools, providing the requirement specifications for the tools (including segment suitcases) necessary for the system AIV Plan and Test CasesPrepare and define the low level Test ProcedureConduct the test execution, including test plan preparation, schedule definition, also in collaboration with other industrial partners and providing support or leading Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, final Test Review BoardsPrepare inputs and collect output data from test executionConduct Test Data analysisPrepare Test ReportsContribute to the preparation of Verification Control DocumentParticipate to the major meetings/teleconferences with the customer and, in particular, being in contact with the customerPeriodically report to the System Engineering Manager about the activity performedPeriodically support the System Engineering Manager in the Progress Meeting preparation and conduction in front of the customerLanguage: fluent English, spoken and writtenLocation: RomePersonal requirements:The ideal candidate has a distinctly propensity to team working and is at ease mediating even between different requests.Open minded to different cultures in working, he always uses a collaborative approach, helping to find shared solutions.Background of satellite navigation is requested, in particular on Galileo system.Personal clearance required.At Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
