Enterprise Sales - Managed Transportation Services (Remote)
Our client is looking for an Enterprise Sales Executive to sell their portfolio of technology and logistics solutions. Sales Execs. will be responsible for executing the complete sales process and accountable for successfully securing new revenue to meet sales goals. This role requires prospecting, discovery, creating demand, pricing, negotiating, relationship management, working with others internally in a collaborative manner, and other actions that align with business development. Our client’s company will support your sales efforts, opportunities, portfolio growth, and personal growth along the way. This position offers endless opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities:
  • Meet all assigned sales targets.
  • Maintain sales plan with detailed account and relationship plans for top prospects.
  • Utilize direct and channel networks gain new business.
  • Active prospecting to identify, solicit, and build a pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Qualify all leads passed on from Marketing, Business Development, and Inside Account Executive teams in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate effectively between sales department and other sales support units; Sales Engineers for technical discovery and design, Pricing, Contract Admin, Sales Leadership and Finance to create and gain approval on sales proposals.
  • Present, negotiate, and gain customer signature on sales proposals.
  • Understand, utilize, and comply with our client’s GTM, sales systems and processes.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop solutions that solve for client challenges.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings, events, and conferences to promote value proposition and brand. 
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of company products and services.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of customer needs and competitive landscape, make the company aware of customer needs and competitive intelligence.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate pipeline and sales forecasts.
  • Other Sales related activities as assigned.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of proven success selling tech enabled supply chain and logistics solutions.
  • Proven success selling enterprise, complex, and/or technology solutions; TMS, Managed Trans, B2B SaaS, other tech sales.
  • Proven success selling and closing large Enterprise Sales.
  • Proven track record hunting and closing new logo business utilizing a consultative sales approach that results in building relationships, trust, and customer value.
  • Deep industry knowledge including customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Rich interpersonal and sales skills: active listening, communication, problem solving, navigating complex sales process with multiple key decision maker contacts, presentation, negotiating, relationship development, relationships management.
  • Experience working with marketing and product management teams to share customer success stories, industry insights with the goal to create the most relevant, compelling messaging – be the ‘voice of the customer’.
  • Computer literate: Solid skills with MS Office software; experience with salesforce.com, customer relationship management, and other web-based software programs.
  • Desire to work in an innovative fast-growing company with the potential for unlimited professional and financial growth.
