Responsibilities
• Develop and support market simulation models and analysis tools for the energy market• Contribute to strategic consulting activities in the energy sector• Provide support in scenario analysis and business case development• Contribute to the documentation of consulting activities for clients• Assist in evaluating impacts of alternative strategic scenarios
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Energy or Electrical Engineering or equivalent• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles• Strong problem-solving and team-working skills• Ability to work independently and achieve results• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally• Excellent knowledge of English• Advanced skills in applied modeling with a focus on linear optimization and mixed integer linear programming• In-depth knowledge of modeling applied to electricity markets and unit commitment/dispatch algorithms• Programming skills in OOP languages like .NET, Java, Python• Analytical mindset and ability to analyze complex topics• Proficiency in Microsoft Office• Nice to have: knowledge of Business Intelligence software and analytical modeling languages, such as Microsoft PBI, DAX, Power Query• Nice to have: ability to analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify correlations, interpretative patterns, and trends
