W Rome is casting for a Seasonal Concierge to join the first W Hotel in Italy.
Reporting to the Lead Concierge, the Concierge is responsible for ensuring an authentic W experience to each and every guest.

What you’ll do
Act as the first point of contact between guests and an organization. Answers all guest inquiries, directs phone calls, coordinates travel plans, and more.
Makes each guest feel welcomed and valued
Selects unique experiences to make the guest stay in the Eternal City unforgettable
Passionate to keep discovering what’s new and what’s next to provide an insider access to the City
Suggests exclusive addresses selected and guaranteed by the team
Takes care of every detail for a perfect stay to anticipate guests needs
Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers.
Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Keep hotel’s Talents and guests constantly updated, maintaining good relationships with outside vendors.
Discovers, gathers information about new local vendors and updates the team accordingly.
Maintains a strong knowledge about local areas and ongoing events happening.
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bell person, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience as Concierge is a big plus
Understanding of rooms operations and luxury hospitality
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Italian and English
Excellent guest service skills
Strong knowledge of what the City of Rome has to offer
Strong planning, organizing and follow up skills required with a focus on details
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word)
Ideally, technical knowledge of GXP and Opera
A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-first attitude
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Flexibility, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
The ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time across a work shift
