Main Purpose:
The Concierge handles Guest services management providing an excellent service at all times, exceeding our Guests’ expectations and making their stay as one of a kind.
Reports to: Head Concierge.
Main duties & responsibilities:
•Plan all Guest services within the property and the area and manages all Guests’ requests according to the company policies, procedures and standards;
•Act as the point of reference for Guests who need assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirement;
•Anticipate customer’s needs and provide personalised solutions by suggesting activities and outlets provided by the hotel or the area;
•Suggest and arrange events, excursions, transportation etc. upon request from hotel residents;
•Answer the phone and make reservations, take and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls;
•Have knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies as well as a good knowledge of the local area;
•Keep the Front Desk staff well informed of Guests’ preferences, providing assistance when needed.

Competencies required:
•Collaboration: Be able and willing to work as a team within the department and with other departments.

•Business orientation: Be able to follow guidelines and priorities assigned by Head of the Department in order to achieve goals in a timely and satisfactory way. Perform his/her tasks with integrity.
•Technical Skills: Demonstrate technical competence and knowledge related to the role.
Other requirements:
•Professional experience, preferably at international level, in the same role;
•Advanced level of English knowledge. A third language is preferred;
•Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g. Opera);
•Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
•Possess excellent organizational skills;
•Strong passion for hospitality and attention to details.
