Mission
This role focuses on the project & proposal management of international R&D projects, focused on Sustainable Fuels, Renewable sources, Bioremediation and Green Chemistry. #LI-MP3
Key Accountabilities
The new resource will be part of the team Energy Transition Strategic Centre, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities. They will:
- Manage EU R&D projects, in the field of chemistry applied to the energy sector: renewable energy and its integration in chemical industry, biomass valorisation, Alternative Biofuels, Synthetic Fuels, decarbonization & energy transition, Bioremediation.
- Develop and manage EU R&D proposals, in the field of chemistry applied to the energy sector: renewable energy and its integration in chemical industry, biomass valorisation, Alternative Biofuels, Synthetic Fuels, decarbonization & energy transition, Bioremediation.
- Develop and Manage the network of EU project international partners.
- Contribute to RINA’s activities of technical development, in the framework of EU funded projects also interacting with international partners.
- Contribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects.
- Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes
Contribute to the growth of RINA’s network of R&D partners in the field of Sustainable Fuels, Renewable sources, Bioremediation and Green Chemistry.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
- Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
- Good attitude to teamwork
- Open-minded to innovation, creativity and good attitude to networking

Education
Degree in Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Chemical engineering with focus on energy efficiency, chemical processes and alternative fuels.
