Value Access & Policy Manager (m/f) 

The pharmaceutical division of Bayer S.p.A. is looking for a strong and motivated Value Access & Policy Manager. He/She will play a crucial role in developing and implementing market access and healthcare policy strategies to ensure the full access to our products for patients and in engaging and advocating with payers, health authorities, national and regional stakeholders to build an effective dialogue and valuable partnerships for more patient centric policies and regulations.

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement market access and policy strategies, support pricing and reimbursement activities for new and existing products working closely with the HEOR team and Regional Public Affairs Managers
• Conduct market and policy analysis and competitive landscape assessments, continuously monitoring the regulatory and legislative environment to adjust market access strategies in the definition of regional value dossiers and to define effective public affairs strategies in coordination with the Value Access and Public Affairs team and the Regional Public Affairs Managers
• Monitor and analyze policy developments and trends that could impact the company's business, providing strategic advice and insights to internal teams and proactively engaging with strategic external stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including government officials, health policy makers, patient advocacy groups
• Develop, with specific expertise and strategic input, projects linked to the re-engineering of care pathways at partner healthcare institutions
• Contribute and guarantee the implementation of Value Access & Policy Strategic Plan at national, regional and local level, supporting Chapter MIA and Chapter Sales in regional activities planning with strategic information on access and policy scenarios
• Ensure the timely completion of Co-creation projects, in compliance with the budget, legal and quality requirements, by coordinating consultancy providers and cross-functional project teams that will be set up ad hoc for each goal and for specific policy and/or access issues.
• Collect needs and inputs from the Chapter “Marketing Innovation Access” for analysis activities, leveraging data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gaining internal support to act upon these opportunities

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in Science or Economics
• Master in Health Economics or Market Access or Healthcare policy is considered a plus
• Previous experience in project management
• Deep knowledge of pharma regulations, of P&R laws and of Healthcare policies
• High sense of responsibility and excellent planning and organization skills
• Analytical thinking, strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent abilities to develop networks both internally and externally
• Ability to work cross-functionally in highly complex environment
• Excellent scientific approach
• Fluent knowledge of English (both spoken and written) and Italian mother tongue
