JOB PURPOSE
The role involves the constant monitoring of the accounts of European subsidiaries for the purpose of timely management of payment and collection processes and their related accounting.
RESPONSABILITIES
• Ensure the management of payments to suppliers and of taxes, respecting the deadlines and Group procedures
• Guarantee the recording of the proceeds and monitor the respect of the due dates
• Ensure proper management of cash pooling and intercompany netting
• Assure the daily booking of banks, cash, and credit cards
• Provide and reconcile advances to employees and suppliers
• Prepare actual cash flow reports for the Group
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and posting of accruals forcommissions and interest
• Collaborate in the constant monitoring of cash flows to ensure the availability of necessary financial resources for the managed companies
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree in economics or diploma in accounting
3/5 years of experience in similar roles
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
Preferable knowledge of a second European language
Familiarity with major office automation packages (Excel, Word)
Knowledge of SAP ERP
Preferable experience in luxury industry companies
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Teamwork orientation
