Transport resides in the COO organization and is overall responsible for executions of all transport & customs related operations using our already proven processes and systems or participating in developing new.
The department has the full responsibility in the region for the transportation of all required oversize, heavy-lift, general cargo transportations and vessel transport. The scope of tasks includes Planning, Execution and Controlling.
Responsibilities
* Budgeting support and preparation of scope of work for Procurement requests toward carriers and shipowners.
* Ensure plan alignment, feedback and communication to relevant stakeholders and coordinate with them in case of plan changes, delays, or damages.
* Monitor and report transport risks
* Managing execution of the site parts deliveries and also costs in order to stay in budget in execution phase.
* Return transport arrangements of transport equipment. For the ones under temporary admission, preparing documents (Commercial Invoice & Packing lists) for smooth customs clearance in destination ports.
* Checking necessary documents (Commercial Invoice & Packing lists & Bill of Lading) and approve for smooth customs process in destination ports.
* Support Delivery Managers during all stages of Project Executions.
* Support is focused in Italy and Turkey
Qualifications
* University level degree in Engineering, Technical or Commercials
* Educational background within relevant areas (e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain Development, Operations Planning)
* Good understanding of IT with a solid knowledge of ERP systems (preferable SAP) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Competencies in process, tools, and systems development & implementation, key account management and partnership management would be beneficial
* Good understanding of transport operations.
