About the role
For our Supply Chain team based in Alba (CN), we are currently looking for a European Central Transport Team Coordinator.
By covering this position, you will manage the European Central Transportation team and you will be accountable for the operating activities, including transport planning (booking), carrier selection, execution, track and trace and monitoring for extra domestic flows in Europe.
Main Responsibilities
As a European Central Transport Team Coordinator, you are passionate about transport planning activities, that you will perform together with your team. You will act as first point of contact for issue management, providing tactical and operational support, leveraging on and promoting best practices and tool capabilities to optimally plan shipments and round trips. You will also operate in the system directly, to book and execute transport booking, monitor the carriers’ performance via specific KPIs and maintain the Carrier Master Data.
In terms of budgeting, you will collect and consolidate information necessary to build the transportation budget, providing support in the definition and negotiation of agreements and prices for the transports.
Concerning people management, you will be accountable for your team, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, diversity and inclusion, competence development and empowerment. You will recruit, and develop people, taking care of their professional growth, evaluating their performance and proposing development initiatives.
Who we are looking for
You will bring your Degree in Engineering and your background of around 5 years of experience, gained in similar roles.
We will value your excellent interpersonal skills and capability to coordinate, motivate and coach your collaborators.
Your fluent English will be a key asset for us, as you will constantly interact with colleagues and external stakeholders from different countries.
