Supply Chain Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Team is a vital part of the Sales Team. The primary responsibility of the Customer Service (“CS”) Team is to support the sales representatives and, in turn, the customers of our client. The representatives are the chief source for order generation. Once an order has been taken and submitted to CS by the sales team, CS becomes the internal advocate for our customer by processing the order through the CRM/accounting system, placing the order with our client's internal manufacturing team, or in some cases directly with the manufacturer, coordinating the shipment of finished goods with our client’s internal shipping team, and ensuring accounting has all the data required for invoicing.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Sales Team regarding product availability and order fulfillment.
  • Order Processing: Receive and process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Order Tracking and Coordination: Monitor and track customer orders throughout the entire process, ensuring timely updates and proactive communication regarding any changes, delays, or other relevant information.
  • Open Order Report: Manage the open order report and ensure the Accounting Team has all the required data for invoicing.
  • Inventory: Review stock levels of finished goods to determine if products are in stock or require production.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of the CS processes and SOPs, customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints, issues, or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of Customer Service processes and procedures, suggesting innovative ideas and solutions to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Other responsibilities will be added as needed.
Experience:
  • College degree required. Significant Customer Service may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Previous Customer Service experience (experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred).
  • Strong computer skills, especially excel, email communication and CRM experience (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
  • Friendly, team-oriented personality.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong ability to work without supervision.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Ability to travel away from home for 2-3 nights one or two times per year.

This position offers a competitive base salary.
