Join Kuehne+Nagel's coroprate sales team as a Sr. Director of Key Account Management - Semiconductor in an individual contributor capacity. Your Role

In this role as a Sr. Director, Key Account Development- Semiconductor, you'll wield considerable influence in driving and securing business within the semiconductor industry, especially in the realm of freight forwarding. You'll play a pivotal part in hunting new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships, ensuring the seamless delivery of critical services in a niche and demanding market. As one of the select few leading this charge from the US, your impact will resonate not only within our organization but across the semiconductor supply chain, solidifying our position as a trusted partner in freight forwarding services. Your strategic acumen and relentless pursuit of new business will carve pathways for growth, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and innovation in this specialized domain. Your Responsibilities

  • Seamlessly merge the pulse of KN's management with the strategic layers of our valued customers. Through insightful knowledge of their decision-making structures, ensure a harmonious union of our strategies for mutual success.
  • Collaborate with Vertical Owners to craft and oversee a dynamic network of sales resources dedicated to serving our Strategic Customers. This collaboration ensures the right team is poised to seize opportunities and create exceptional value.
  • Partner with Vertical Owners to identify and deploy the optimal resources within KN, fueling our ability to capitalize on lucrative opportunities while executing a comprehensive Strategic Customer Business Plan.
  • Take the helm in setting, surpassing, and meeting revenue targets, aligning closely with Vertical Owners to drive business growth and prosperity for both KN and our Strategic Customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all KN services and solutions, orchestrating a unified approach across diverse business fields to cater to the bespoke needs of each customer.
  • Lead RFQ responses for Strategic Customers, ensuring a robust and tailored approach to potential opportunities. Foster a deep engagement with customers while coordinating regional support for RFQs when necessary.
  • Foster regular in-depth sessions with customers to delve into global discovery, nurturing relationships and uncovering opportunities that resonate with KN's capabilities.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential issues to Vertical Owners and Senior KN Management, offering swift resolutions before they evolve into challenges.
  • Maintain close operational communication to ensure a seamless alignment between customer expectations and operational solutions. Channel operational concerns to the relevant departments while upholding clear customer communication.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Undergraduate degreein logistics or related business field.
  • 5+ years experience with logistics/supply chain
  • Requires a minimum of 5+ years of freight forwarding sales experience.
