The responsibilities also extend to analysis/assessments of operational problems, investigation of new technology and tools, supporting other developers, and contributing to the overall direction of the ECLIPSE suite of products - the essential software to work effectively in the space sector.

YOUR TASKS

As Software Developer you will be responsible for:Design, development, and testing of ECLIPSE web based applicationFull stack: involvement in all architecture layers (Web development, Java programming, Databases)Participate in the ECLIPSE Sprint Demo, planning and stand-upsPerform peer code and design reviews3rd line Operational support (i.e. assist helpdesk/customer in investigating anomalies and problems)Produce technical documentationProvide technical support to other developers within the teamAssist Product Owners in defining and improving the ECLIPSE components and modulesProactively striving to extend his/her own skills and capabilities in line with the agreed career goals YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDegree in Computer Science (or similar)Java (or others) certifications are an advantageExperience with front-end frameworks such as JQuery and AngularExperience with Relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)Experience with Git, SVN or other version control systemStrong analytical and object-orientated design capabilitiesAdvocate for good design patterns, API design, test driven developmentFamiliar with Agile principles and best practisesEffective English written and oral communication skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAble to work as part of a team and foster good team cooperation Nice to Have:Experience in Web Application Development with J2EE and Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JSP, Servlet is an advantageExperience with web development Framework such as Spring, Hibernate and Struts is an advantageExperience with Document-Orientated databases (MongoDB) is an advantageExperience with Java based Indexing libraries such as Lucene is an advantageExperience with RESTful Web Services (oData) is an advantageExperience with Business Process Automation tools such as Camunda is an advantage EXTRA INFORMATIONCompetitive SalaryCorporate Benefits PackageCompany eventsFully remote from a European country Once we receive your CV, we will take time to evaluate it carefully.
