Job Title: Senior Partnerships Manager 

Salary: Competitive  

Location: Cairo, Egypt / Hybrid  

Contract: Permanent - Full time 40 hours per week

We have an exciting new opening for a Senior Partnerships Manager to join the team and to support the achievement of our business objectives, by building a strong and positive partner network in the Middle East and Africa that will help us to deliver on our mission, reach and impact across the region.  

Partnership for Education works with ministries of education and international development organisations to improve the quality of education systems around the world – so everyone has the skills they need to achieve their goals and find their place in a modern, inclusive society.  

Collaborating with teams in Cambridge and the region to advance our commercial strategy, the Senior Partnerships Manager will lead in identifying new partners, securing new partnership agreements, and maximising the value of existing stakeholder relationships.  

 

About the role  

As the Senior Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of the Partnerships strategy in the Middle East and Africa. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Commercial team, you will closely monitor the education reform landscape and possess the ability to rapidly respond to specific pipeline opportunities, negotiating new partnership agreements.  

You will be responsible for proactively developing fit-for-purpose, mutually beneficial partnerships and building consortia that match the needs of the pipeline, as well as brokering meaningful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders within non-profit and private sectors. Whilst driving new business, you will ensure that existing partnerships continue to thrive and that Partnership for Education commitments are understood and met.  

 

About you 

Motivated by our mission, you'll have a proven track record in developing, managing, and maintaining successful B2B/B2G stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, demonstrating intercultural awareness and possessing engaging presentation and interpersonal skills.  

With a solid understanding of the education sector, you will be confident in speaking to a variety of stakeholders and qualifying partners for future opportunities.  As a strategic thinker, you will bring strong business acumen and relish the chance to work collaboratively to meet deadlines.
