Job Title: Senior Manager, Sindh & Balochistan

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Cambridge Assessment Pakistan (Private) Ltd. is a subsidiary of Cambridge Assessment Overseas Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Cambridge Assessment Group.

The Team

We are a strong team of 20 experienced, diligent, and supportive individuals based in offices across Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. We work collaboratively across the country to achieve high quality support to our schools and teachers so that they can provide excellent teaching and learning in classrooms.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Sindh & Balochistan to be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with schools and individuals across the region and devising plans which meet schools' needs. The person will also be responsible for raising Cambridge International's profile in the education sector and support the training needs of Cambridge schools. The role will also be contributing with the development of new strategic relationships and existing key accounts leading to significant new business.

What you'll be doing

You will be based in Karachi with significant travel across the Sindh & Balochistan region. Working closely with the regional team and our UK-based teams, you will identify and develop opportunities to support the growth of this market, including the running of educational seminars, conferences and other events.

You will also be responsible to support and manage key school accounts based in Karachi making sure that their needs are addressed in a satisfactory manner.

The role will also support our teams who are responsible for compliance, inspections, registration of new schools, training, research and other school-related issues. You will drive sales growth across the Sindh & Balochistan region, working with the extensive network of schools and potential education partners.

You will be part of a team whose role is to strengthen our relationship with key stakeholders, like Cambridge schools, the government, higher education institutions and others. To this successfully, you will be closely working with the functional leads and teams in Pakistan and in Cambridge.

You will be representing Cambridge at conferences and exhibitions in the country and liaising with a variety of key stakeholder groups by presenting on Cambridge programmes and qualifications.

You will be keeping abreast of Pakistan education policies particularly in Sindh & Balochistan to advise the Deputy Country Director, Assessment and Country Director in strategic matters.

What we're looking for

You must be educated to degree level. You will have an excellent knowledge of Cambridge Assessment International Education, our programmes and qualifications and our competitors' products and of educational policy in Pakistan and internationally.

You should have the ability to influence and to negotiate with key stakeholders and an extended experience of external relationships. You should have excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and communication skills.

You should be an effective communicator and have the credibility to represent Cambridge effectively with school principals and management officials and influencers of educational policy.

You will have the capacity to work independently with minimum supervision to complete tasks/projects on time and at the same time and when relevant, to work in close collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization to help drive success.
