For a Multi-national Company we are looking for a Senior HR Manager with knowledge of both commercial and plant environment, preferred previous experience in pharma industry
The Senior HR Manager has the purpose of managing all HR activities at country level helping to build change capability throughout the organisation, providing tools and guidance to managers as needed.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Provide expertise, guidance and direction on Employee Relations issues in line with local policies and procedures
- Support managers to own their own grievance and disciplinary procedures, providing more of a lead in cases that may incur significant financial liability for the Company
- Management of local works councils and unions
- Contribute to Business Unit plans in partnership with Local and Foreign Business Directors
- Own and be responsible for local HRIS data
- Support change management initiatives in a complex organization - keeping and driving focus whilst managing complexities
- Manage the Performance Management Processes facilitating managers’ understanding of the goal setting process in line with local and regional business plans
- Responsible for salary management, working alongside the Comp&Ben team and HR leadership
- Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and Management
- Manage local HR Team (2 employees)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educated to degree level
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Extensive experience (+10 years) in a HR Generalist role with particular emphasis on Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits and Communication; knowledge of both commercial and plant environment
- Experience with negotiating and influencing Managers
- US multi-national company preferred
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Experience of operating in a continuous process improvement environment
- PC skills – proficient in Microsoft Office
- Manage conflicting priorities to tight deadlines and to high quality
- Work under pressure with limited guidance
- Pro-active
- Excellent communication skills
