Senior Funded Project Officer

For Public R&D Policies and Programs group, we are currently looking for a Senior Funded Project Officer.

What you will do

Imec's R&D programs are supported by Funded Projects with industrial players and research centers. The “Public R&D Policies and Programs” group is responsible for coordinating all funding activities at imec. This includes both front office activities such as ensuring imec's participation in strategically important projects up to the electronic submission of the projects, setting up the necessary cooperation agreements with the project partners and supporting ongoing projects. The Senior Funded Project Officer will be supporting the funded managers’ team with the following activities: 

• Being the first point of contact for all questions related to Funded Projects you are following and this for both the technical teams from imec as the technical teams of the consortium partners.
• Setting up templates for the research deliverables in Funded Projects.
• Assisting and closely working together with the technical units at imec and with the other consortium members on the timely and correct delivery of the reports towards the funding agency. 
• Being responsible for the organization of Funded Project reviews. 
• Assisting the funded managers in setting up the consortium agreement.
• Assisting in policy work related to funded programs and regulations.

Who you are

• You have a master degree or equivalent. 
• You have experience in administration. 
• Knowledge of funded and project management is considered a plus. 
• You are self-motivated, innovative and results driven. 
• You are a true team player and have experience working in a multidisciplinary team. At the same time, you thrive on working independently and taking initiative. 
• You are a strong communicator, and given the international character of imec, good knowledge of (spoken and written) English is a must.
