Senior Communications Review Specialist

As a Senior Communications Review Specialist, you’ll provide technical and regulatory support on all customer communications and financial promotions, ensuring they meet clear communications requirements and correctly reflect product.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Support the Communication Review Team (CRT) in reviewing client communications and Financial Promotions to reduce risk to the business.
• Work with colleagues to ensure that third party marketing material meet regulatory requirements.
• Support the business in achieving compliance with ICOBS Financial Promotions rules and other ICOBS literature requirements, as well as ensure ASA compliance.
• Record, log and manage workflow of incoming/outgoing proofing to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Adhere to the Financial Promotions and Communications process (FPCC) to ensure technical accuracy of material, appropriate levels of review, sign off and creation of a robust audit trail.
• Assist the Compliance Team in carrying out monitoring reviews in relation to the FPCC.
• Train the business on the process and regulations to help the business to achieve FCA compliance for all externally facing generic communications.
• Become the key point of contact on approval related queries and support in delivery of approval training and/or issue resolution
• Provide technical support and advice to Distrubition, Marketing and Customer Service.  
• Collaborate with the wider Product Governance Team on other activities in response to business demands and workloads.

What we’re looking for:

• Understanding of AXA Health and third party business and products.
• Good knowledge of AXA Health and third party policies and practices.
• Knowledge of the ICOBS rules, in particular the Financial Promotions rules.
• Highly developed attention to detail and comfortable dealing with policy terms and conditions.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately and prioritise and deal with a number of urgent tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Self-motivator.
• Clear understanding of the Principles of Insurance.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
