Your Role
You are responsible for the delivery of operational excellence through your team of
Operational Care specialists by providing leadership and direction, while continuously optimizing production costs. Your focus will be on developing the
Sea Logistics export business by enhancing operational capability and delivery of increased profitability, balancing between cost-efficiency and high-quality processing.
Your Responsibilities
- To ensure operational excellence through high quality shipment management and export services.
- To collaborate with Customer Care locations (CCL) through proactive provision of information, knowledge,
solutions and alternatives to deliver customer satisfaction. - To maintain and strengthen operational carrier relationships.
- To contribute to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean and cost-efficient processes.
- To optimize the development of Sea Logistics operational KPIs.
- To ensure the highest levels of productivity within the organization in collaboration with Systems and Processes.
- To perform timely and accurate cost/revenue updates, escalating all files that are below the minimum GP
threshold as per guidelines to ensure cost awareness and efficiency. - To support and resolve claims and disputes.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Over 5 years experience as Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist
- Over 2 years experience as Team leader / Supervisor is a plus
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Solid analytical and critical thinking
- Strong problem solving skills
