Responsibilities
• Define production plans based on sales forecasts and in agreement with the Commercial department• Plan activities of resources according to production flows• Supervise the entire production process to ensure quality, safety, and hygiene standards are met• Collaborate with Purchasing in purchasing raw materials and packaging• Manage production process considering scheduled maintenance and handle unexpected maintenance needs• Collaborate with R&D in designing new production strategies and meeting company and market needs• Manage and control stock levels of raw materials to reduce semi-finished and finished products inventory• Experience in a similar role in the food industry, preferably in confectionery/bakery/gastronomy• Experience in managing resources and a strong motivation to work towards goals• Senior pastry chefs with at least 10 years of experience will also be considered• Diploma or degree in Food Science or Technology• Knowledge of Excel and company management software
