Resource Specialist

The role

The Resource Specialist for DLA Piper’s Italian Flex offering sits within the International Flex team and plays an integral part in the delivery and embedding of our flexible legal service.

Working closely with team members, you will be accountable for delivering a ‘best in class’ recruitment experience for candidates, as well as internal and external stakeholders. 

You will also be responsible for working with internal and external hiring managers, department heads and HOOs to understand their flexible staffing needs and provide robust fulfilment solutions, delivering high quality individuals.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full candidate recruitment lifecycle, from identification and assessment through to offer and onboarding. 
• Conduct candidate interviews and produce high quality written interview notes.
• Work with internal partners/management and external hiring managers to understand their flexible staffing needs and provide robust resourcing solutions.
• Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks. 
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal and external hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Review and monitor onboarding and induction activities to ensure they are compliant, efficient and fit for purpose. 
• Manage candidate communication; keeping them informed about the status of their application at all stages of the process. 
• Negotiate rates in line with company policies and budgets to maximise efficiency and profitability within the agreed guidelines. 
• Manage and support individuals whilst on assignment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and share this knowledge with the team.
• Co-ordinate with Flex team members in Italy and internationally.
• Forge strong relationships and work in collaboration with HR and the wider DLA Piper business.
• Ensure that responsibilities are discharged in co-ordination and compliance with both the firm’s and Flex team’s policies and procedures.

ABOUT YOU

• A subject matter expert in Italian recruitment techniques, best practices and engagement models (including onboarding processes).
• Experience working within the legal industry, recruiting various legal roles (breadth and seniority) as well as non-legal roles.
• Experience of recruiting for a range of clients in a variety of industries and sectors.
• A strong understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. 
• Familiarity and compliant use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
• Experience working in a complex, matrix environment. 
• Ability to work autonomously when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A natural networker, skilled at building relationships. 
• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with changing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
