In this position, you will establish and maintain a quality culture, controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.You will be the Quality and HSE Specialist and in charge of developing and maintaining the quality assurance system including HSE aspects.This will be done in close collaboration with the Service Quality and HSE Managers.

Your responsibilities
- Analyzing and optimizing the production processes using statistical methods.
- Ensure compliance with the group-wide management system by implementing policies, procedures and standards (ABB Way).
- Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet requirements and that control plans are followed and effective.
- Being responsible for effective implementation of ABB quality management system and develop and maintain it in workshop.
- Performing internal and external audits with the use of analytics to identify risks, non-conformances and assisting in following up improvement actions.
- Being responsible for quality assurance of all process from incoming material, process quality, to machine outgoing quality. Ensure that product is meet with ABB and customer quality requirement during manufacturing.
- Facilitate risk assessments and ensure that all processes and corrective actions are implemented.
- Helping to assess trends and legislation in HSE and communicating information on legal requirements.
- Management of HSE documentation related to external Field Service activities (POS, ecc..).
- Act as a role model in occupational health and safety, Defining, maintaining and reporting of Quality and HSE KPIs.
- Implementing effective quality management strategies for the factory and transferring norm and statutory requirements into the ABB process.
- Report and investigate HSE incidents, collect feedback and communicate lessons learned and best practices.
- Identify, plan and initiate employee training needs.
Your background
- Degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or management) with minimum two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- A team and solution-oriented approach and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and 14001 regulations, D.LGS 81/08 regulation.
- Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing skills and knowledge of quality standards, tools and methods, like Yellow Belt certified.
- The ability to deal with complex issues and to work in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English and Italian, written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel occasionally in Italy.
