- Responsible to define projects schedules and financial plans.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of railway control and signaling systems projects, from planning to execution and project closure.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other involved professionals.
- Supervise project execution and performance including reporting and project reviews with management and others as required.
- Builds relationship among all parties involved in the project and serves as an escalation point to resolve issues that may have unfavorable impacts on any given project.
- Ensures that all projects comply with HSE policies and procedures and Integrated Transformer Management Systems processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of project progress.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.
- Implement project management best practices and promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure effective implementation of technological solutions in the field by collaborating with technical and operational teams.
| What do we expect from you?
- M. Sc in Electronic, Telecommunications or Computer Science
- Experience of at least 5 years as technical PROJECT MANAGER
- Proven experience in managing and implementing technological solutions in the railway/metro sector (Communication and Control systems)
- In-depth knowledge of railway control and signaling systems and related regulations (e.g., ERTMS, ETCS).
- Ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good technical background of the solutions concerning Communications, Control, Security, Passenger information systems used in Railway industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and softwares (e.g., MS Project).
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
- Strong competencies in organization and coordination of multiple and remote-located teams.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Italian (both written and spoken).
